From baby to bar student

The B word is of course ‘barrister’, and if you are anything like me then this is the goal, but it’s not an easy one.

I wanted to create a blog for aspiring barristers to come and interact with one another. To discuss our past experiences, future journeys and all of the bits in between.

I am currently finishing up my year studying the BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course) and like many have been reflecting on my own journey. Although I have not secured Pupillage for the coming year, I am excited to see what the next 12 months holds for me. 

I’m no expert, but I’m hoping that this blog can provide practical tips, friendly guidance and even some hard to swallow truths about the journey to the B word.
